Sounding a little like Martha Davis and The Motels, Frankie offers up the first single from her 2026 album, <b><i>Hila</b></i>. <p> <b><i>"Cant Be Wrong"</b></i> is a languid vamp, one with a lot of Eighties synths in it. It's a simple melody but a haunting one. If this isn't quite the <i>indie</i> that Frankie Rose first started out with, that's okay but it's still sort of cool. <p> <b><i>Cant Be Wrong"</b></i> by Frankie Rose is out now, complete with the missing apostrophe in the song title, and <b><i>Hila</b></i> will be out in October. <p> <i>[Photo: Adam Barabas]</i> <p>
